Seasoning Your Cast Iron Heirloom

Heat pan so that it is to hot to touch.
Use pot holder or oven mitts to hold the cast iron, lightly coat with oil of your choice using a pastry brush.
Wipe off excess coating and reheat for a few minutes to help the seasoning absorb.

All our products come seasoned with vegetable oil.

Cast iron can be used for poaching, sautéing, baking, boiling, frying, searing, braising, roasting and grilling for just a few examples.
